Program description. Shy uses SMS to send one-time passcodes (OTP) that verify your identity when you sign in. These are transactional security messages only — we do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How we collect your number and your consent. We collect your mobile number only when you enter it yourself to sign in, in the Shy mobile app or on our web login at app.theshyapp.com/login. By entering your number and tapping “Send code,” you consent to receive a one-time verification code from Shy by SMS at that number.
Message frequency & rates. Message frequency is one message per sign-in request. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out & help. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for help or contact help@theshyapp.com.
Sharing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Information sharing with subcontractors strictly in support of the messaging service (for example, our SMS provider) is permitted.
